John Tice
Pastor of CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Hi, I’m John Tice. I am a minister to Children. Here, at First Baptist Church, my privilege and joy is to serve side-by-side with the gifted and dedicated men and women who make up our Children's Ministry staff. Our prayerful intention is making Christ-impressions upon the hearts of each boy and girl we serve.

After graduating from Gloversville High School in upstate New York, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. About two years into my enlistment, Jesus drew me to Himself and I was given grace to trust Him as Savior. Soon, I began attending Victory Bible Church, a fellowship just outside of Camp Pendleton in San Clemente, California. It was there, in the lower level of that church (the usual location for the greatest work on earth), that I was called to the largest and most important mission field in the world – Children!
